Art Saturday Field Recordings #1

Art Saturday Field Recordings began in the basement of Mark and Lucy Mulroney’s Syracuse home. Lucy works a day job, so Saturdays became the only day that she and Mark could make art together. One Saturday they decided to try and make music. What happened that day is recorded on this disc. Since then, they have accumulated a toy electric guitar, a carpeted 1970s era organ, and a bass guitar with an unreliable input jack. They recorded themselves with an old cell phone. This cover was made by Mark with hand-cut stamps. Each one is unique, like the discs too, which are created by hand with a lathe that cuts the audio file into plastic. Limited to 20 copies.
